✨ Slade’s Corner: The Confidence Wobble – Why You’re Braver Than You Think ✨

Hello Guildies,

It’s me, Slade, sliding in with your midweek mindset check. Don’t worry, I’ve put the glitter cannons down for a moment so we can have a proper chat.

Let’s talk about The Confidence Wobble. You know the one: you’ve made something beautiful, poured your time and heart into it, but suddenly you freeze when it’s time to share it or price it, convinced it’s not good enough, that someone will judge, or that you’re not “ready.”

Here’s the thing: You’re braver than you think.

Every single post you share, every market you attend, every conversation you start about your craft is an act of courage. You’re showing your creativity to the world, and that’s no small thing.

You don’t need to be fearless to be brave. Courage is feeling nervous and sharing your work anyway. Courage is adjusting your prices even if it scares you. Courage is letting yourself be seen.

If your confidence wobbles sometimes, it doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you care about what you’re doing.

Here are a few reminders from your friendly Slade:

Your work doesn’t need to be perfect to be shared. The only way to improve is to keep creating and showing up.

Your creativity has value, even if you don’t see it right now. Someone out there needs the smile your work will give them.

Small steps still count. A tiny post, a quiet price adjustment, a small market – it all adds up.

You don’t have to do it alone. You have this Guild, a whole community ready to cheer you on.

This week, if you feel a wobble, take a breath and remember: Brave doesn’t mean loud or fearless. Brave just means you did it anyway.

If you’ve taken a brave step recently, big or small, drop it in the comments on this post or in the PCG Workspace Group so we can celebrate it with you. Let’s keep the courage rolling, Guildies.
