🌊 The Story Behind the Name
The Dark Island Soap Co was founded in memory of Chiara’s beloved father, Donald, who hailed from Lochboisdale, South Uist.
“We spent many a happy time on ‘The Dark Island,’ near dad’s home on the Isle of Benbecula. The business is a way of keeping those memories alive while creating something beautiful and sustainable.”
